I was just listening to some album samples, I'm hearing a lot of hard bop, as well as some other things. We should have him added to the site by tomorrow.

Hmm, so hard bop it is. I have to say they confuse me a little bit (I'm talking about categorization here). Maybe it's caused by the instruments they use.

^ The album they did with Dan Barta will probably be placed under Barta. I checked out all of Balzar's albums and came up with two Hard Bop and two Post Bop. We should have them up soon.

Maybe some day, right now I have my own to do list of CDs to review, plus CDs people have sent for review. From what I heard though, Balzar is a great bassist.
