Yeah, PBRs have been "redneck" cool in Memphis for a while. It tastes better than a lot of other American beers, but still not great, all the same, I can knock back a couple now and again.
I was drinking Becks yesterday, which I believe is seen as low grade European beer in Europe.

Guess all kinds of US beer are lighter than ones in other nations ... What do you think / feel?
Sorry, I've drunken Bud and Coors only but I've felt so.

I'm not too fond of US beer, some of the smaller brands are ok, but generally its beer from Europe, Asia or Mexico for me.

We have Mexican Corona here, but it comes as extra-expensive exotique (at least twice more expensive than regular European brands)

Yeah, Kingfisher, I like to have the large bottle with an Indian buffet.

Corona is OK, but not worth double of European beer.

If you want to drink American beer, stick to small breweries.  Anything "mainstream" is generally going to be pretty bad.

Same applies to Canadian beer.

This summer is on its end here, we finished warm season with one wine from home collection - Vranac Pro Corde

this bottle came from Balkans during one of my last visits, living there for some years I found out that between red dry wines of the region Montenegrin Vranac is a great choice. It comes from Skadar Valley - region near Skadar lake on Montenegrin/Albanian border and in middle price segment is unbeatable choice all around W.Balkans (I mean Vranac Pro Corde, there are cheaper version named just "Vranac"). Dark red, full bodied and slightly tannic.

I noticed its price in US (in net) is around 17 $, looks like a bit expensive, regular price in Serbia,Montenegro or Bosnia is around 5-6 euro.

Let me say the most delightful Japanese malt-based Shochu for me is Sato!

Taste and flavour of singed malt, baked sweet doughnut ... awesome one.

Thank you for recommending "Sato", Damosan. I have not yet tried it. However, it looks very good. Are there two kinds of wheat and the potato to the raw materials? Anyway, I wait for an opportunity to try it.

That would be awesome Thumbs Up

I have always wanted to visit that bar in Japan that Kazuhiro visits with all the old jazz records, it sounds like a great place, we don't have a bar like that anywhere in the US that I know about.

I often visit jazz bar, but there are few bars which can enjoy an old record now. The shop which only a fan really knows. Japan had a lot of such bar approximately 40 years ago. When the management of the shop has a deficit. Or the fashion changes with the times. The bars were few now, but I knew the precious album which I knew in a bar.

^ A pretty terrific bar with various old jazz vinyls is in Tokyo, where Kazuhiro took me a few years ago ... I enjoyed Yosuke Trio's "Frozen Days". This is my favourite one. Sax man
