Do you guys remember "Billy Jack" the cool non-violent American karate Indian. Of course he belts the hell out of everybody at the end, like I said Billy was non-violent
 Or this one below (No Bruce) , you Bruce Lee Fans...No one mentioned "Enter The Dragon" he was a wonderful actor

Yes, the famous fight between Green Hornet, Kato, Batman and Robin. If I remember correctly Batman took out Hornet but Kato kicked ass on Batman and Robin at the same time, maybe it wasn't in the script, ha.

ah Kato, so misunderstood and relegated to the shadows, except when he kicked Robin's ass of course-- I think Jet Li's Black Mask was a variation on the Kato character, never saw it though

Yes. I remembered that there was a topic of Kurosawa before in thread of the PA. The movie of Kurosawa seems to be still popular abroad somehow or other.

yes I like Jackie, more of a performer/acrobat than fighter but he's made some great ones (love both Drunken Masters), and Jet Li has very good presence and skills-- I also am a big Kurosawa fan.

"Enter The Dragon" attracted the audience very much when it was shown in Japan. It was said that the audience was the feeling that became Bruce Lee after having watched a movie.
Because I was a following generation, all my generations were attracted by Jackie Chan. |

 I did not almost know it about Samurai where Matt mentioned.  The reason is because I was born in 1970. Probably I think the name of Samurai to be "Samurai Shintaro". It is just "Spy Swordman".

Yes. I really know that Samurai and Ninja are known well abroad. However, I do not really know the existence of a comic with a realistic narrative and the animated cartoon which handled the theme abroad.
If it is a movie, I know "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "The Last Samurai". However, I know the tour that I can experience when overseas people visited Japan. It can really use a weapon and the sword which Ninja uses in costume of Ninja. It seems to be popular somehow or other. Of course I seem to attract the souvenir. |
