I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

Agree, John and usually strings and Bop musicians do not mix one bit for me.  Sonny calls first though today.......nice seventies album this one.

Time for a quick bit of African..........First up "Souareba", not often one can say but this a fabulous album from the 80's "yes the 80's"  , It's a bloody total masterpiece in contempary fusion.

It does look like a budget album doesn't it, maybe the record biz folks didn't think it was going to go anywhere so they decided to keep costs down.
