of the 3 albums i have of hers (the other 2 being Another Mind and Brain) Time Control is my favorite. The album is more Classic Fusion than her others which is more Post-Fusion Contemporary as she is listed here. I would go so far as to change this album's genre tag, but I would like to double check with the others here at the forums.
anyway, i love this album. Ive listened to it about 7 or 8 times and every time i do, it's fantastic. One of the best fusion albums of the 2000s. It's one of those jazz albums I love to listen to at night. I may actually listen to it again later tonight, and maybe review it too. but right now im listening to...

Ah well, if you have time, you should listen to Beyond the Blue Horizon and tell me what you think of it.
I like the Shepp album, not entirely free jazz, it has 4 semi-gospel, jazz mixture tunes which are fun and the last track is a 20 minute free jazz piece with changing themes and groovy parts, have a look:
