Born in Mexico City, Enrique Haneine holds four degrees, including his Masters in Jazz Piano Performance from The Boston Conservatory and Berklee College of Music, and is known for his versatile performance and leadership roles in both the Mexican pop scene and the New York jazz world. From his past roles as music director, pianist and arranger for Ricky Martin, Vina del Mar music festival, and for numerous Mexican television productions (such as the Eres Awards) Haneine's reputation as a brilliant artist and talented arranger are well deserved. Today his repertoire has evolved and matured into the realm of free, standard and Latin jazz. After moving to Boston in 1996 Haneine began intensive private studies with numerous outstanding musicians.
