Been a while since I have heard this. When I say that "for this one, I mean only several months". That good you could play it everyday. I notice myself that I seem to love Joe Henderson when he is in the band. Don't forget he was also in "The Real McCoy" Both of these albums are total 5 star jobs. I won't go on about McCoy today
Still gotta be one of the pianists ever....McCoy Tyner that is.

Fabulous stuff John. I read your review your while back now and I noticed it was one of your faves. Who is mystery sax player listed on the album. Any Idea ? because I have none at all. I have had this a few years now. I noticed it is going Out Of Print on cd.
So if anybody here is thinking about it, make your desicion fast before the price heads to Alpha Centauri and beyond.

I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ... Ken Burns

They have only ever released two of the Freddie's in Japan on cd. I would love em' but I am waiting hopefully for a reissue...vinyl would be nice (this one I am playing is the only one reissued that way ) I have the cd. "Down to Earth" and "Mo Greens Please" are the albums.
