Second full band's studio album (and third at all) and the first one recorded under shortened band's name (from Jazz Q Praha). Being one of the leading Czech fusion band in early 70-s, the collective has quite unusual history. In late 60-s they were full-bodied free jazz band without even small rock influences. Their first release was split work with Czech another leading jazz-rock band,Blue Effect. Blue Effect have their roots in blues rock, and split release was interesting experiment trying to add more jazz in Blue Effect sound on the wave of becoming very fashionable jazz-rock. All compositions on the mentioned album are played by both bands at the same time.As a result, one of the very first Czech fusion album was recorded, Blue Effect turned to more fusion sound, and Jazz Q Praha - from free jazz to jazz fusion!

On their second album Jazz Q recorded one track with English vocalist Joan Duggan , and for this, their third release, she relocated to Czech Republic (for some years) and became regular band's member. This album shows even bigger move to jazz-rock sound with some blues elements. But main influence obviously was Brian Auger's band with Julie Tippett.

In fact, all album's compositions are jazz-rock,played by mostly jazz musicians with strong (if not very original) female vocals. Very often it sounds like the musicians are trying to play rock, but their jazz background could be traced almost everywhere. Keyboards sounds is important in all mix and are influenced more by early Santana's band sound (with some Latin fusion elements),than by Auger. Bass is deep and groovy, and he builds very jazzy feeling as well. Guitarist is excellent, and his rock-like soloing is filling all the space, but again guitar's sound is not sharp or aggressive, but more jazzy, with plenty of improvs.

Compositions are well structured, perfectly played and arranged, various compositionally, so all album sounds as one excellent work. Not most jazzy band's album, but excellent recording for competent jazz fusion fans. One of the best fusion release coming from Central Europe of 70-s.

CD version contains bonus track (Predzvest 9:40).
