BULGARA for World Fusion. A band founded in 2002 in Sofia by a member of Bulgarian National Radio's Orchestra - Kostadin Genchev and composer and arranger Kiril Dobrev who worked with many pop and hip-hop artists in Bulgaria. Their music is an eclectic mix of Bulgarian folklore with other World music, jazz, rock, funk, ambient and electronica. Many traditional Bulgarian instruments are used - like kaval, gaida, tupan, tambura, gadulka, as well as modern ones such as electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboards and programming.
