From Sept. 2-4, the 2016 Palm Springs Women’s Jazz Festival will take place at the Annenberg Theater, the Indian Canyons Golf Resort and the Hard Rock Hotel in Palm Springs, Calif., with performances from over 30 of today’s jazz greats and rising stars, including headliners Dee Dee Bridgewater, Ann Hampton Callaway and Pamela Williams.

Programmed by artistic director Sweet Baby J’ai, recipient of Los Angeles’ Living Jazz Legend Award, the festival will also include performances by Sweet Baby J'ai; pianist-composer Sabine Pothier; bassist Sherry Luchette; saxophonist-vocalist Paula Atherton; double bassist, vocalist and composer Mimi Jones; drummer Tina Raymond; vocalist Pam Trotter; keyboardist Sunnie Paxson; pianist, composer and singer/songwriter Karen Hammack; guitarist Linda Taylor; pianist, vocalist and songwriter Sascha Dupont; vocalist Cathy Segal-Garcia; violinist Lesa Terry; pianist Jane Getz; vocalist Rosalia de Cuba; bassist Chelsea Stevens; vocalist Gennine Jackson; drummer Maria Martinez; and instrumentalist-composer Carol Chaikin.

“We have crafted a collection of extraordinary musicians merging jazz, blues and funk who will descend on Palm Springs over the Labor Day Weekend for a compelling musical tapestry,” said Sweet Baby J’ai, in a press release.
