Montreal Jazz Festival Announces First Concerts for 2016

Headliners include Fred Hersch, Joey Alexander, Wynton Marsalis, Gregory Porter

The 2016 Festival International de Jazz de Montréal (aka Montreal Jazz Festival, presented by TD in collaboration with Rio Tinto Alcon) has announced its first concerts for its 37th edition, taking place June 29-July 9. The first 17 concerts confirmed for 2016 include Gregory Porter, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra featuring Wynton Marsalis, (for the first time in 14 years) Ms. Lauryn Hill and pianist Joey Alexander, in his FIJM headlining debut.

Stacey Kent — July 3, 8 p.m., Théâtre Maisonneuve, PdA
