The instrumental collective Snarky Puppy, which released its first major label album, Sylva
(Impulse!/Universal Music Classics), on May 26, is seeing major
commercial success with the album. According to a press release, “After
reaching #1 on the iTunes Jazz Chart on release, Sylva debuted on multiple Billboard charts including #1 on the Heatseekers Chart, #1 Top Current Jazz Album and #1 Contemporary Jazz Album.
The band will launch an extensive tour next week—see below for dates.
