Official Miles Davis Website Revamped

The http://www.MilesDavis.com" rel="nofollow - MilesDavis.com website has been revamped and launched in honor of Davis’ 89th birthday. The site has been optimized for mobile devices and social media content sharing, according to a press release. In addition to the previous content on MilesDavis.com, the new site will include more than 125 official Miles photos from the Sony Music archives, presented with images of his original artwork.

Other highlights, according to the release, include special sections curated by the Miles Davis Estate featuring a selection of Miles Davis DVDs and books; a new “Miles Ahead” film section that features a preview of selected images from the forthcoming film starring Don Cheadle and Ewan McGregor (along with background information on the project); and an updated career retrospective by music historian Ashley Kahn, who is also author of the liner notes for Miles Davis At Newport 1955-1975: The Bootleg Series Vol. 4.
