SFJAZZ to Honor Joni Mitchell at May Gala

San Francisco’s SFJAZZ has announced that it will honor Joni Mitchell with a lifetime achievement award at its annual gala on May 8. The singer-songwriter will be recognized “for her artistic vision and contributions to modern music,” according to a oppress release. The program will feature Brian Blade and the Fellowship Band, SFJAZZ Collective and special guests. All proceeds will support SFJAZZ’s artistic and education programs.
