Saxophonist Steve Wilson to Release First Album in 12 Years

Recorded live at the Village Vanguard with his band Wilsonian’s Grain

Saxophonist Steve Wilson will release his first album in more than 12 years, Steve Wilson & Wilsonian's Grain Live in New York: The Vanguard Sessions, March 24, on Random Act Records. The album features tracks recorded live at the Village Vanguard on May 24 and 25 of this year. Accompanying Wilson are Orrin Evans on piano, bassist Ugonna Okegwo and Bill Stewart on drums. 

The album is Wilson’s first live recording as a leader and his first with his band Wilsonian's Grain. The group has also announced a number of 2015 tour dates (see below).
