1958 was not shabby with
Somethin' Else (Adderley)
Cool strutting (Sonny clarke)
Mysterioso (Monk)
Moanin' (Blakey)
But it simply isn't as modern
so is 1959 a hinge year???

Fully significant year. Concierto de Aranjuez or Take Five are jazz repertoire must-hear, pleasant too, but not masterpieces to me. Anyway, I still have a lot to hear. -------------
