Hi all

I'm growing more and more fond of jazz fusion music, I've been mainly listening to Return to Forever, Planet X, Allan Holdsworth, Frank Gambale, Soft Machine and Frank Zappa.

Do any of you have any jazz fusion band/album recommendations, in particular post 2000?

Also, any live jazz fusion videos on the web that would be worth checking out?

Thanks

Here's a good modern fusion band, Medeski, Matin and Wood and/or Medesk, Schofield, Martin and Wood:

Try this one: it's listed as post-bop, but to my ear it's a good blend of pretty much everything :)

A sample on Youtube (more tracks are available ibid., 4 or 5, from this album)

^ something else came to my mind:

Ms. Hiromi's Time Control

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones: Rocket Science, although it's an "entirely different kind of fusion"
