hi all, come to this site looking for an answer that never came.
I'm looking for the music of the early chapters of the old Pink Panther, no opening music, the music that sounds all the time throughout the entire chapters with endless variations (but without sound effects). Anyone know if you can get these tapes? Thanks for your time. bye

Are you talking about the original soundtrack by Henry Mancini?

Thats great music, but you won't be able to find that music without the rest of the noises.

Thats original music made specifically for that episode by soundtrack composer Walter Greene, it does not exist anywhere else but only on that Pink Panther cartoon short called "The Hand is Pinker than the Eye".
Basically he has his big band jamming on the original theme by Henry Mancini. It is really good music, so maybe someday someone will come along and make a compilation of his soundtrack music without the effects and dialog, we can only hope so.

Here is more about Walter Greene:

Actually Greene uses that same music in other Panther episodes, but apparently its not available without the sounds.
