Pretty straightforward question: Which duo configuration do you like most in your jazz. Obviously the main deficit here is only 25 options, and many more duo configurations exist. I tried to stick to common instruments and avoid pair the same instrument with itself. So, please explain 'other' votes. Also, can't say for certain a few of these have large bodies of work to refer to. If I repeated one I'll replace it with something else. ------------- Hit it on Five. I voted for piano and double bass, Bill Evans with Scott LaFarro or Gary Peacock.

| Unfortunately not, at least as far as I know. Gilmore mostly played with Sun Ra, with just a few dates outside of that. Denardo mostly played with his Dad, although I may need to check out what else he did. |

| Now it all comes back, Blood Ulmer's "Captain Black", thats one of Denardo's best, he's on some other artist albums too. |
