We are not quite out of the possible permutations of the Impossible Ark jolly men and women.

This band and its eponymous album is here:

http://impossiblearkrecords.bandcamp.com/album/the-rhythmagic-orchestra

I must add that the album cover I have is nothing like the one depicted at the Bandcamp page - mine is just a plain thick brown cardboard paper with the name and a discreet Impossible Ark logo on it.

This time the ad hoc band includes, I understand, a guest crew of Cuban percussionists, and the music is entirely in the Latin/Cuban style (and it's very, very good).

Let me know what you all think ...

Its excellente! I love this kind of music, and yes its Afro-Cuban.
You could call it Latin Jazz since Afro-Cuban is a subset of Latin Jazz, but at JMA we use our Latin Jazz genre as a generic umbrella group for any Latin jazz that does not fit Afro-Cuban or Bossa Nova.

Thanks for the suggestion. Thumbs Up
