NDIO were formed from the ashes of the Holland-based Hugh Hopper Band and features the ex-Soft Machine bassist working with familiar names as well as new faces. The end result is an exciting European jazz/rock blend that balances inspired soloing and improvisation within carefully crafted ensemble work.

They released the album Airback on Cuneiform Records in 2005.

NDIO stands for Never Dance In Orange.
