What I've heard from this album is excellent. There are new directions in RnB coming from folks like Glasper and Esperanza Spaulding that use odd rhythmic shifts in conjunction with digital studio trickery to produce almost hallucinatory type effects. Modern RnB is breaking new ground in rhythmic sophistication and it will take a while for others to even hear this, much less catch up.
