Nine acts from Europe and the USA will perform live at the National Opera and Ballet and the Youth Cultural Center, including Fire! Orchestra (SE/NO/FR), Cecile McLorin Salvant (US), Rob Mazurek Exploding Star Orchestra (US/IT/NO), Rodrigo Amado The Bridge (PT/DE/NO/US), The End (SE/AT), Nicole Mitchell & Mark Sanders (US/UK), Alabaster dePlume (UK), David Virelles (US), and Next to Silence (MK). In addition, the festival will feature a screening of the documentary “Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool,” the art exhibition “Rob Mazurek: Radical Chimeras,” a new CD Release Party for Next to Silence, the awarding of the best young Macedonian jazz musician, and the ‘Jazz for Kids’ workshop.
