Hi everybody,

I'm an old jazz fan, always searching for gems I haven't heard, and sharing our love of jazz.

I'm not a musician but I play the stereo very well. The early 60's sound on Blue Note is great, and lady jazz singers are practically a fetish.

I also design and build electrostatic loudspeakers, which are wonderful for jazz.

Looking forward to learning more about jazz and making new friends!

Welcome Charlie, I like the way 60's recordings sound too. I like a lot of modern jazz, but the recorded sound lacks something. I assume its too much compression.
