Man, I feel like an orphan with this disappearance   McCoy was my fave pianist.... bar none.  His instantly recognizeable style with that awesome left hand play made him unique  RIP
and Thx for the music, whether with Trane (the last member of the mythic
quartet) or on "solo" (his string of 70's albums is near-flawless and
one of the longuest ever) ------------- my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicted musicians to crazy ones....  |
