I was recently listening to this song by Dorothy Ashby, and realized around the 1:08 mark that this theme has been used in a movie/show potentially, and I'm dying to know where I've heard it before. Not a recording by another artist, but a use in pop culture. It's killing me to find out!

Any leads?

You're right, some TV show used to use that, lets see if we can find it.

The song was used in the movies "Life of Her Own" and "Invitation", but I can't find the TV theme, if it does exist.

You could always go on youtube and try various 60s and 70s TV themes, especially detective shows.

The composer, Bronislow Kaper, made some TV soundtracks for Quinn Martin Productions.
