Some albums have been added to the item of Gilles Peterson now. However, he seems not to have the subgenre.

Its because they are labeled as boxsets or compilations and not recognized as albums, its the same situation with Fletcher Henderson.

i think a lot of those Gilles records listed there are not boxsets or compilations, feel free to fix the situation.

The other thing that is blocking Henderson is no release date on some albums, you might want to check Gilles for that too.

Few things about artists discographies:

1.All albums,added without the date of release,are automatically imported from MusicBrainz albums only.JMA system doesn't aloud to add new addition without date manually.

2. There are many cases especially with Traditional Jazz when only box-sets/compilations are available foraddition in albums list. In such cases the artist wouldn't be presented in genre's list. The easiest possible decision I found is just to add at least one single to such artist discography - added single is enough for displaying the artist in genre's category . One of the best sources for singles information for different artists I use is RYM (Rate Your Music) site.

Thank you for the opinion.
The addition of the album that I had done last week was addition of information felt to be insufficient of my seeing the data base exactly.

It is felt that it is necessary to add to the musician who doesn't have the album before JMA starts formally actually to some degree.

However, there are a lot of musicians whom I do not actually know either. And, I also am often referring to RYM as a collection of information.

People who come to JMA will freely add the album. I do not intend to rely on it to say nothing of me.

Anyway, the work that I am doing this week is an accomplishment of the instruction by the establishment of the data base by the addition of the album and Admin Group.

All that Slava said is good, I would also add that sometimes records labeled boxset by musicbrainz are actually albums. That is how I finally fixed Fletcher Henderson. I found a record that was labeled boxset that was actually an album.
