Two of music’s most recognizable voices take over at Sony Centre. As one of the most successful recording artists and entertainers of all time, the legendary Diana Ross performs June 24. On June 26, multi-GRAMMY winner Norah Jones takes the stage. Selling over 47 million albums, Jones proves why she’s this era’s quintessential American artist. The TD Toronto Jazz Festival shines the spotlight on three outstanding vocalists. Canadian vocal powerhouse Emilie-Claire Barlow performs at Koerner Hall on June 25 while the next night sees one of Cuba’s greatest treasures on her farewell tour. Best known for her work with the Buena Vista Social Club™, Omara Portuondo caps off a seven-decade career on June 26. Tower of Power celebrates its 50th anniversary at The Danforth Music Hall on June 25. This May, the Festival announces its star-studded opening weekend celebrations. The annual festival has now expanded onto Bloor street, extending its footprint.
