I would suggest to change his country to Yugoslavia because his first LP was recorded during Yugoslav period. Yes, he is of Macedonian origin, but he has been living in Canada since mid 80s, so his later albums are basically "Canadian". ;)

Our common rule for all artists is country of origin depends on place of birth only. There are lot of musicians living outside of their country of birth/citizenship, so any criteria different than place of birth would bring a real mess
