I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

This is a good pianist, I've been listening to a lot of his music, but he is hard to classify. I hear equal parts Contemporary, Post Bop and Classic Fusion. Although the separate albums may be different, what do you think his overall default tag should be, I'm leaning towards Classic Fusion myself.

I was thinking of contemporary, but I'm not so good with these classifications.
