DON FAY: sax flute. 

 Looking for some info on this musician.
 I'm gradually piecing together some facts although they are sketchy. I'm sure there's someone who can help.
 Born Bournemouth late 1930s?
 1. Son of a musician and band leader, Syd Fay
 2. Moved to Birmingham then London
 3. Played on Small Faces The Universal
 5. Played on Empty Sky Elton John and Samuri's 1971 album
 6. Formed his own big band and played gigs in the south of country around 1973
 7. Moved to Australia for a number of years
 8. Returned to live in Bournemouth area
 9. Passed away two years ago

	I'll try looking around later tonight and see if I can find anything, but it looks like you may have covered everything thats readily available. Possibly your best bet for getting more info would come from contacting a family member. 	I have been asked by Don Fay to clarify a couple of points regarding his status:- 1. That he was born in Bournemouth and 2. Perhaps more obvious, that he is alive and well and living in the UK. Regards, Sospiri
