The line-up for the EFG London Jazz Festival opening-night gala concert Jazz Voice has been announced. Trumpeter Guy Barker’s 42-piece orchestra will accompany vocalists in a spectacular celebration of the singer and the song, hosted by broadcaster and foodie Jay Rayner.
This year's stars include Jacob Collier, Polly Gibbons, the Brooklyn-born, Harlem-based Allan Harris, the witty John Pizzarelli, major new Blue Note vocal talent Kandace Springs plus gospel and folk-rooted Lizz Wright.
