Jazz Heats Up New York’s SummerStage in Central Park

Kamasi Washington, McCoy Tyner Quartet, and the Hot Sardines, among others, set to perform

This June, McCoy Tyner Quartet and Ron Carter featuring Wallace
Rooney and Roy Haynes; Kamasi Washington; Butler, Bernstein and the Hot
9; the Hot Sardines; and Bria Skonberg and the NY Hot Jazz Festival
All-Stars with Anat Cohen, Vince Giordano, Joe Saylor and Dalton
Ridenhour, will perform at the SummerStage Festival in New York City’s
Central Park.

SummerStage is an outdoor festival of the arts held each year at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park. Performances are free.
The lineup is as follows:
Saturday, June 4:

McCoy Tyner Quartet, Ron Carter featuring Wallace Roney and Roy Haynes

Doors at 5 p.m.; show at 6 p.m.

Saturday, June 18:

Kamasi Washington

Doors at 5 p.m.; show at 6 p.m.

Saturday, June 25:

Butler, Bernstein and the Hot 9 

The Hot Sardines

Bria Skonberg and the NY Hot Jazz Festival All-Stars with

Anat Cohen, Vince Giordano, Joe Saylor and Dalton Ridenhour

Doors at 2 p.m.; show at 3 p.m.
