Steve Coleman to Host Charlie parker Listening Party
Oct. 29 at JALC in New York

Saxophonist, composer and MacArthur “Genius” Award-winner Steve
Coleman will host a listening party dedicated to the life and music of
Charlie Parker, focusing on some of his favorite recordings and playing
examples of some of Bird’s greatest musical achievements. The event is
free to attend and will be held Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. in the Irene Diamond
Education Center (IDEC) at Jazz at Lincoln Center, on the 5th floor, at
60th Street and Broadway, New York City,
