Aha, the mystery can be explained.
 The song "Stone Flower" from "Caravanserai" was written by A. C. Jobim, no doubt Firyuza heard Jobim's original version, not the Santana one. Makes sense the song is by Jobim, because both melodically and harmonically, its pretty far past what Santana could write.
