Sade set to release new music next month

It has been confirmed that Sade has been persuaded out of retirement to record a new song for a forthcoming movie soundtrack. The reclusive British singer, 59, hasn’t released any new music since 2010’s ‘Soldier of Love’ with her eponymous band.The new piece will be called ‘Flower of the Universe’ and the film is called ‘A Wrinkle In Time’ – a fantasy adventure that follows a group of children as they travel through time and visit strange worlds in order to find their missing father, starring Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. The news was broken on twitter this week by the Movie’s director Ava DuVernay, who said “It’s a dream come true”.
‘A Wrinkle In Time’ is slated for US release on 8 March and UK release on 23 March.
