Know only half of names on the list, not a fan of Amina Figarova, saw Dianne Reeves few years ago live. Angelique Kidjo sings somewhere near my hometown few times every year. I expect Joe Lovano was a real headliner though.

An article in the paper which sums up the festival. Any chance that anyone will be making it up to Detroit for this festival this weekend? There is a small possibility that I might stop by after the Tigers' game on Saturday, but it is probably unlikely. |

This Labor Day weekend will featured the 32nd annual edition of the Detroit Jazz Festival. Hopefully some of you can make it over to Detroit for this event. http://www.detroitjazzfest.com/11lineup.html
