Hi, I would like to suggest a bass player from Israel named Jean Claude Jones. Most of his work is avant-garde and hard bop jazz, and he also has several official releases and collaborations. He leads a band called "Kadima Collective".

I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

We will add Jean Claude Jones to AG, you can let us know if any of his albums should be tagged differently.
Kadima Collective isn't really a band, more like a co-op of artists and musicians.
