Thank you, Guigo. I did not know the generation of these video clip, but was able to know that Brazilian music adopted various factors. The first video sample is interesting. The music such as hard rock is interesting.

Other videos remembered some The Gipsy Kings for me, but think that the element of the Brazilian music was included enough.

Paulinho Moska, a new generation star, recorded duets of a bunch of old songs with their original interpreters:

Refreshing this topic only to remind that a giant, Milton Nascimento, completed 70 yesterday (26th October).

A song talking about those political prisoners that were "fallen" into deep sea.

This is not a samba. However, I checked Yamandu Costa a few days ago. I wanted to know whether Guigo knew him. Probably he will have an overwhelming technique. Anyway, it was a fact that a guitar player from this Brazil was gradually known in at least Japan.

Yamandu Costa is a great name of the new generation of acoustic guitar players. Personally I think he's a bit flamboyant but he's changing for good recently.

For my taste the master is Raphael Rabello (1962-1995), gone too soon:

Raphael had a great fan:

I forgot to mention that Yamandu and Raphael play the 7-string guitar not the conventional 6-string guitar. Smile

Some performances of Yamandu may be surely showy as Guigo said. And the technique is surely splendid.

And thank you for telling Raphael Rabello. I see Raphael Rabello really greatly. It is a loss to lose a musician like him. Even if they surely use 6 string guitars; such as 7 string guitars may play it. Smile

Slava just added Vincius Cantuaria to the site, great modern artist who combines Samba and Bossa Nova with modern elements.

Good news. Vinicius Cantuaria is also a founding member of O Terço, kind of bulwark of the Brazilian symphonic rock.

Happy Birthday, Guigo!!  Beer Guigo and a family and a friend. I hope that I spend a good day. I am glad in, as a result, Rio de Janeiro having been chosen by the site for the Olympics. Of Japan Brazil is really a friendly relationship very. Hug
