Respectable American session bassist Nathan East will release his second album as leader in the mid January (on Japanese Yamaha label). A collection of popular tunes played in smooth jazz/r'n'b key.

Not really a 2017 release since digital download is available from Dec'16, but physical CD still on its way.
British guitarist Mark Wingfield in a company of TouchGuitar player Marcus Reuter and fretless bassist Yaron Stavi, plus very universal Israeli drummer Asaf Sirkis. The music is what one can expect from such line-up and MoonJune label - King Crimson, 80s version-influenced jazz-rock without deviations and digging deeper or wider. As UK-based project, it could be released on RareNoise, but MoonJune do it better

Quite unusual for Ellery Eskelin collection of memorable retro-tunes, straight and old-fashionably beautiful. Some are standards, but right half of the album are trio's originals written and played in similar key
