Press Release:

"This exhibition runs as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival, with which David has worked closely for many years. It will showcase around 100 of David’s most popular photographs taken over the past quarter of a century, in all the capital’s leading music venues including the Royal Albert hall. The exhibition will include photographs of a number of artists playing in this year’s festival.

David Sinclair has been photographing the world’s leading jazz musicians for over 25 years. Starting with film photography at Ronnie Scotts and the Bulls Head in Barnes from 1990, he has become one of Europe’s premier and most highly collected jazz and music photographers. His work has been used regularly by the media and music industry since the 1990s, in the UK and internationally, in print, on CD covers, and in jazz books and publications.

David’s pre and post digital archive consists of over 50,000 images of more than 5000 artists in performance, rehearsal and backstage. Many of his photographs reflect close relationships developed with these artists over many years. David’s pictures can be seen on the walls of Ronnie Scotts, The 606 Club, and Pizza Express Jazz Clubs, as well as in regular exhibitions across the country. For 2015, David is patron for Jazz Hot’s 80th Anniversary in France.
