I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

I've seen Miroslav Vitous playing duo with Franco Ambrozetti few years ago, it was quite nice gig
I believe Vitous and Viklicky are two cornerstones of Czech jazz Never saw Hamasyan playing live - should be quite interesting Ambrose Akinmusire should be great I expect Jaga Jazzist ..... they were more interesting some years ago, but that time has gone long ago for me (somehow it looks they got stuck on the very beginning) Edited by snobb - 23 Oct 2015 at 2:11pm |
