Keyboardist Marc Cary will be joined by pianist Jason Moran in “Harlem Nights/U Street Lights” at New York’s Apollo Theater on May 9 and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., on May 10. The shows will celebrate the “deep musical connection between Harlem and D.C.,” according to a press release. The concerts, which support Cary’s recently released album Rhodes Ahead Vol. 2 (Motéma), mark the first collaboration between the two venues. Cary’s full current tour schedule is below.
