And we've got chance, it's in black and white. It would probably be worst if the video was in colour ! LOL

Along with jazz and RnB, 20th century French classical music is a favorite of mine. Here is something by Milhaud:

It's great thank you .
I have to recognize that my musical knoledges of this period are very slight....
I know some compositions of Erik Satie like gymnopedie n 1, my favourite, or je te veux. Poulenc because of BabarWink when I became a mother. Of course clair de lune by Debussy and Boléro by Ravel. But that's nearly all. And all those musics are from the begenning of the 20th century, or the end of the 19th.... I don't know anything else of the classical musique of the 20th century.

Back to a little French outpost in the states known as New Orleans with an unexpected cover of an 80s icon.

Ordinarily, when I think about New Orléans, I think about this kind of music wich is very much more predictable Wink

However, it's a beautyfull discovery. Thank you so much

^ That's interesting, its like a mix of Louisiana, Persia and Latin America.
What is the name of the group or artist?

My girlfriend is from Poland, she loves St Germain, we listen to a whole Pandora station devoted to their style.

Here is some southern US heat for you:

thank you ! I really like ! I am listenning to the concert at the north sea jazz festival 2011. I will enjoy this week to listen to their albums.
I only discovered jazz for about a year. It's so varied and rich ! It's exciting Smile
In exchange, here is a little of the Sun of the south of France Wink. Claude Nougaro is not only a singer, he is also a poet....

Very destabilizing at first, and yet mesmerizing and hypnotic.... troubling, like the character.

Real street tap dancing still takes place in New Orleans and Memphis.

For Herbie Hancock, I think I'm not ready.
This music is complicated for me. But maybe, I did not start with the good album....
Also, it will be a pleasure if you have advice to propose me to approach his music Smile

In the meantime, tonight it will be this album for me Smile
