^ Yes, I was just reading about the fire. Hopefully that is mostly scaffolding and construction materials that are burning, the final outcome may not be as bad as it looks now.

Unfortunately the whole frame of the nave to burn and collapsed, as well as the big arrow. 
As an historian has just said, we have just been  cut off from what is part of our identity.

One of my distant musical memories is this song.


It's a bit like a nursery rhyme. 
A little mole is bought at the fair. Suddenly the cat eat the mole bought at the fair. So the dog bites the cat who eats the mole bought at the fair, etc.....
It was a big success in France in the 70s. Because of the troubadour side straight out of an other era.
