Jazz Recordings of the Year - Winners 2023

by Barney Whittaker

Last month, we announced the full list of nominations across the jazz categories in this year's Presto Awards. Along with our shortlist of Jazz Recordings of the Year, we also introduced prizes for Label of the Year, Archive/Reissue and Newcomer in Jazz for the very first time. Read on to discover our full list of winners for 2023, who each in turn summarise another exceptional year in music.

From both of us here in the jazz department, we would like to thank you for your constant support over the last twelve months and, as always, encourage you to get in touch with your thoughts as to our award-winners — plus any suggestions you may have of your own! Stay tuned for another promising year of musical features, interviews and much, much more.

Emma Rawicz

The name on everybody's lips at the moment, Emma is one of the nation's fastest rising stars, having already received rapturous acclaim from the likes of Jamie Cullum and Jazzwise Magazine.
