Out of/Into

It was a nice listen. It's not always that you hear something and it's hard to say ... it sounds like ... which makes it for an exciting experience. You wonder what next. And, maybe its my inexperienced ears on jazz, but the music did not sound "busy", which is kind of what it sounds like when everyone has to solo right now kind of thing. But here, it's like it's not about the solo but the whole thing, and in many ways it is nice, a breadth of fresh air ... to be able to listen to something that is not some kind of solo showcase ... this is a jazz showcase. Very nice. And stayed for the whole album ... thanks for posting it. Even when the toob puts on a commercial, you know right away how far away it is from this unit. That's not only rare, it is special! And I could not even get out of hearing the whole thing!

(Side Note: The toob interrupted a piece of music for a commercial ... if that is not a lack of respect I don't know what is!!! That is inexcusable!!!)

Love is Passing Thru (A solo/duo/trio and quartet album)

Two-Sided Love - Wonderful touch on that piano, makes this neat. Very enjoyable.

Love Came - Let the piano dance with the saxophone ... you so want to be there!

Love Has Passed Me Again - It's hard to not appreciate that saxophone with the piano ... another super nice piece. And that piano ... yeah ... piano ... yeah ... 

Jitterbug Waltz - Interesting opening, that differs from anything else. And this is the first time that I thought this was a bit more on the conventional side of jazz, driven by the piano ... and that guy can play ... it's a wow!!!

I kinda felt like I could just listen to that piano all day long!

Naissoo Freeform Quintet

Album with the same name. All pieces are titled as a color ... that is neat and makes you want to hear all the differences. Keyboard player Tonu Naissoo is the main person in this effort. And a Rhodes Piano in case you feel like you have not heard it in a while ... and it is good. Notes state that all this was done in two days, and if so ... this is amazing stuff for 2 days, not to mention a group/band of folks, but someone obviously had a touch and an interesting idea that helped everyone stay focused. And making room for others is nice ... and it doesn't feel like ... look ma ... I'm soloing! Tight work!
