Not sure why there are so many jazz versions of "Rites of Spring" all of a sudden, but this version by Eric Hofbauer is much better than the rest.

"Measures", the new album by Nostalgia 77 mixes post bop with fusion with African and Latin influences, somewhat similar to classic albums by Tyner and Shorter, but done with a modern attitude.

An ongoing trend in modern jazz involves acoustic instrumentation, with modern fusion rhythms on the drums topped with swinging post bop solos, often saxophone or piano.
"Music Appreciation" by Chris Greene is a good example:
