I've just listed a few of the ones I eitehr love or found interesting. There's obviously more I could have put up there, but I didn't wanna crowd this particular poll.    So, why'd you choose the one you chose? Big smile

For me, it's Jazz Impressions of Japan which is a beautiful album.

This is turning into bit of a tribute page for the album! Anyway, what's your pick?

Brubeck is probably not my favorite, but I recall "Further..." as having some interesting material.

voted for Time Out, one of the first jazz albums I liked
I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

I'll vote for Live @ Carnegie Hall.
Hit it on Five.

Saxophone Scatterbrain Blitzberg

Stab them in the ears.

All great albums - I especially love to see them stretch out a bit live, so I nearly voted for Carnegie.

I think the rock keyboardists had a lot of fun with his material, for instance The Nice.

Cool. I don't actually have much from The Nice, just a song or two from compilations etc - any particular track or album that I might be able to notice it?

The first album "Thoughts of Emerlist Davejack" has "Rondo", and the album "The Nice" has a live version called "Rondo 69", fun stuff, crazy acid rock with the Hammond B3.
