Indo-Jazz fusion violinist and band leader John Mayer (Indian-born and of mixed heritage)... participated to the London Jazz & Classical scene.in the 60's & 70's..

He made a band with Joe Harriot exploring Indian and jazz music  with three albums - they're actually wrongly (maybe?) included under Harriott's own space (Harriott is Jamaican born, a long stretch from Indo-Jazz-fusion)

His solo works were never really released until the time around his death (2004), under his son's patronage

This album is phenomenal (recorded in 76, but never released until 06)
